5 minutes from leftovers to a 2 block Zone Diet amazing afternoon meal! 🌈

 

So, after a lot of sickness and a lot of start stop with respect to diet and nutrition, I am making my way back to a Paleo Diet with attention to Zone Portions. I've dabbled with more meatless recipes, integrated more and more plants, reducing meat intake, adding in way more fermented foods and love all of it really. I truly believe that all bodies function differently and have varying nutritional needs and that everyone has a different place where they feel Their best! For me, Paleo Zone was that place. It's not easy, at first, removing all grains and dairy, focusing 90% on the low glycemic veggies and tons of them, with a balance of lean protein and the addition of healthy fats for each meal, but for me the benefits are amazing! Most of these recipes also suite a Whole 30 Diet as well! So stay tuned for more simplified macro balanced meal and snack recipes! ;)

The end of the week I usually have a few veggies leftover, all chopped and ready to roll! So I tossed the last of my veggies from meal prep into a skillet, Peppers, thinly sliced onion, Zucchini Noodles, Purple Cabbage and a few mushrooms, with 1/3 tsp Avocado Oil.  Sautéed until softened and deglazed with about 1/2 tbsp Whole 30 Approved The New Primal Classic Marinade! Cooked 1 more minute, then plated all those yummy veggies. Added 3 oz shrimp to same pan and cooked until pink, deglazed with same sauce! Topped with crushed cashews and cilantro!! Making this a perfect Macro Balanced 2 Block Zone Snack, Paleo, Primal, Whole 30 and Low Carb!
