Time Saving Sliders

Please forgive me, because I am getting ready to tell you an awesome and easy way to prepare a NON-Primal dinner. But these ROCK! They are so good and SO simple they make you feel silly for having not known about them forever! And....there is a fantastic primal option!

Regardless of this not being the healthiest recipe I will ever post, EVERY MOM in the world should know this one. Even if you don't put it into rotation at your house, it's awesome for parties, sleepovers, and perfect to take to Superbowl, World Series, etc. I got this from my wonderful, amazing sister, who I couldn't live a single day without. So kudos to her!

***** Note: I made these with Ground Turkey, exact same way, and no one even noticed! My husband actually likes them better with Turkey! ;)****

Sliders Kings Hawaiian Rolls or Eggplant Buns 2 lbs. of 93% lean ground beef 1 pint mushrooms, cleaned and sliced 1/2 onion, chopped your favorite cheese mayo mustard pickles shredded lettuce jalapeños your favorite burger toppings For Primal - Eggplant, washed Preheat your oven to 400F. Press ground beef into a 9x13 non-stick pan, no spray, no greasing the pan, nothing! Top the meat with chopped onions and mushrooms. Bake for 30 minutes. DRAIN fat off. Top with cheese. Slice the whole loaf of Kings Hawaiian Rolls in half, one huge rectangle! Spread the whole things with mayo, mustard, etc. Place the slab of meat on top. Top meat with pickles, jalapeños, lettuce, tomato - whatever you like. Put the top loaf on and slice into sliders! Is this not crazy awesome?!?!?!?!? Serve with Butternut Squash or Sweet Potato fries! You say bacon burger? Try the Applegate Good Morning Bacon! It is 60% the fat of regular bacon - made from pork shoulder! FABULOUS! Cook it ahead and toss it on right before you place the cheese on!

These are fantastic served naked as well, in lettuce wraps with sliced tomato, or on Grilled Eggplant Buns! Simply Slice an eggplant into 1" slices, lay out on a paper towel and hit with a dash of salt, allow the salt to draw out some of the moisture, press firmly with a paper towel to absorb the extra moisture, then grill or broil until crusty on the outside! Bam - Paleo Buns!
